Gantry robot PRO 03

In the past there was always a fitting answer to this question depending on the required task. Layer palletizers are unchallenged when it comes to throughput. Robots are more flexible, but limited in reach. Well, now we're able to offer a 3rd alternative, one that combines highest flexibility and a long reach: the gantry robot PRO 03. The PRO 03 moves along three different axes: the x-axis (lengthwise movement), the y-axis (crosswise movement) and the z-axis (up and down movement). The z-axis is a telescopic one that due to its unique design requires limited head room even when working with very high pallets and can be used in halls with low ceilings. Its gripper cannot only grasp all types of products, but can also place interleaves if required. Our gantry robot can stack different products arriving from a variety of production lines unto various pallets. Because of the PRO 03's variable width countless palletizing positions can be served parallel. The Siemens Microbox 420T makes this all possible. The tried and tested S7 technology operates with Motion Control on the Windows XP operating system. The Motion Control part guides the Sinamics axes with DRIVE-CliQ Bus. With the integrated Ethernet interface a Teleservice is possible up to the drive level.
